Purple octopus came from one night that I was with my boyfriend sitting in the cold outside. I had purple gloves in my purse so I gave him one and wore the other. Nobody but us knew how we felt about eachother, so we were talking and hiding on the side of a friends house. We then held hands that night and noticed that when we put our hands together, the four fingers minus our thumbs looked like a little purple octopus.
